From their website

"Even now we’d be the first to admit that it’s not perfect."

As long as we accept that not all people on the voting panel have the same tastes as us, then we can take it in context.

Friends who have been to Noma say it is great, but other restaurants impressed them more?

Great attitude. They have humility in abundance which is the same with most of the restaurants featured in the top 10. I am impressed by all of the chefs I have come across who strive for improvement and who don't take anything for granted. It is admiral and if we all thought like that in this country our restaurants might achieve higher placing in the future. Thanks for your comments as always, it is a joy to have this continued dialogue with you.
